Bilingual HR Assistant/Receptionist

Summary
Responsible for performing a variety of human resources support duties. Assists in maintaining human resources database and all employee records and files. Completes assigned reporting functions. Performs general office support functions and assists area personnel as necessary.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential duties for this job include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

  • Accurately enters data into Human Resource Database.
  • Helps to ensures that human resources files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements and Company policies and procedures.
  • Helps ensures that EEO reporting functions are up-to-date and in compliance with federal regulations.
  • Completes miscellaneous research, reports, and memos as requested.
  • Coordinates with related departments as required.  Answers questions and provides assistance.
  • Performs miscellaneous clerical functions and special projects as assigned.
  • Enroll employees into insurance programs
  • Assists in the preparation of payroll by reviewing and correcting employee time sheets for accuracy
  • Maintains employee attendance records
  • Make copies
  • File
  • Process terminations
  • Set up Interviews
  • Perform Employment Verifications
  • Conduct weekly Trainings/Orientations in Spanish

Education & Experience
Associates degree (A.A.; A.S.) in a related discipline from a two-year college or technical school. One year related experience or training.

Language Skills
Must be bilingual in Spanish.
