Inventory/Supply Coordinator

Summary
Assist in the inventory control of production supplies, manage the receiving function and monitor inventory of ingredient/supply materials for production.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential duties for this job include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

  • Take a daily count of supplies
  • Assure that supplies are properly stored
  • Notify purchasing agents and inventory control of supply shortages
  • Coordinate supply receipts and distribution to the various warehouses
  • Complete paperwork for loads being shipped and received accurately and timely
  • Coordinate activity between drivers and dockhands
  • Determine order of loading activity
  • Decide on where product is unloaded and stored
  • Verify receiving paperwork every morning
  • Works on projects that come up and need attention, such as inventory problems

Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). No prior experience or training required. This position is developed internally.

Certificates, Licenses or Registrations
Valid Drivers License, Forklift License not required, but preferred.
