Summary
Shipping, receiving, storing, issuing, ordering, and organizing inventory of parts and special projects as assigned.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential duties for this job include the following, but other duties may be assigned.

  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times in representing Abbyland with outside contractors.
  • Possess above average phone skills to communicate requirements to suppliers
  • Ability to multi-task and meet demands of a fast paced maintenance shop
  • Basic computer skills such as word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Some mandatory shifts may be required including Saturdays
  • Personal transportation and valid drivers license required
  • Able to work in a maintenance shop environment with the noise, chemicals, dirt & dust that can develop.
  • Cycle Counts on Parts Cabinets (Weekly, Monthly ,Quarterly)
  • Responsible for keeping up with obsolete inventory
  • Working with maintenance managers to decrease inventory on hand
  • Assisting with maintenance record keeping (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually)
  • Occasionally filling in to other parts roles (Maint purchaser, data entry, parks clerk)
  • Other job duties to apply.

Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Language Skills
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instruction and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
