Primary function is to move trailers around the yard, as well as in and out of the docks of the facilities. Also expected to set up and stage pups for drivers and to switch empty and full trailers to and from shipping docks and trailer parking areas. Applicants must be able to handle heavy lifting and perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner, monitor trailers, docks and proper safety procedures. Also must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions. Previous trucking experience is preferred.At least 23 years of age, CDL Class A license, 2 years minimum of verifiable commercial driving experience, 1 year of current commercial spotting/switching experience, safe driving record, and ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements.
