Summary
Dock workers operate forklifts and walk behind lifts in a safe and controlled manner. They also prepare pallets of meat for storage or shipment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
The essential duties for this job include the following, but other duties may be assigned.
- Load out supplies to Abbyland Foods & Abbyland Pork Plant
- Load trailers—ensuring that the right product is on the right trailer
- Wrap pallets of product before shipment
- Unload supplies purchased from vendors
- Put all supplies away in dry storage
- Keep dry storage clean & organized
Education & Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required. No prior experience or training is required.
